Here’s to a New Year!

So I’ve got a couple of things to celebrate in this post!¬† First off I’m participating in¬†another (my second¬†one!) and then I’ve got give a major shout out to a great blogger whom I follow avidly and has been sweet enough to become one of my followers.

Okay so I’m going to brag on Sue first…

Isn’t the button great?!¬† She is celebrating 1 year of blogging and I think she is great!¬† I have been following her for a while and I always learn something from her.¬† Her journey as a teacher for English language learners in another country is always fascinating to watch.¬† Her products are great too as she is always conscious of her international audience.¬† You can follow her on both TPT and TN.¬† In honor of her anniversary, she is doing a mega giveaway!¬† What do I mean by mega?¬† Well how does 4 (YES 4) rafflecopter giveaways sound?!¬† They are PACKED with great stuff!¬† Plus they help you connect with other great bloggers out there.¬† If you click on her anniversary button above, you’ll go directly to her giveaway.¬† I strongly encourage you to go.¬† She is a great lady with a great milestone to celebrate!

Okay next the resolutions:

So Jen over at The Teacher’s Cauldron is hosting a linky just for this great day!¬† I’ve gotta share a personal resolution and a blogging resolution.¬† No problem because I’ve got one for each!¬† Oh and don’t forget to click the button above to see other great posts!

So personal resolution- work on my training program to run the Disney Princess Half-Marathon in Florida with my mom and 2 sisters in February 2014.¬† Why so long?¬† To get those of us not running that well up to speed.¬† I used to run cross country in high school and loved it.¬† But attempting a left flank in marching band while in college took out a knee (it helps if the knee goes with the rest of the body!) and effectively ended my running days.¬† No more!¬† I’m getting back into it!¬† So here’s to getting back into running this year!

Now for the blogging resolution- to post a minium of once a week with a full out goal of twice a week.¬† I’m tempted to add trying to create products to share with y’all but I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew.¬† My blog is still a baby after all!¬† I think I want to make sure it will be what I hope it’s slowly becoming and then get into the product making.¬† But I am being inspired so we shall see!

Well there you have it!¬† I hope you all are enjoying your New Year and the rest of your break!¬† Happy New Years from Mrs. Landry’s Land of Learning!!
